Job summary

MissJ’s Cafe inside LV Petroleum Travel Centers in Williams, IA is hiring energetic team members to prepare fresh foods and deliver excellent customer service. Onsite interview during normal business hours at the Travel Center location.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving guests, keeping the dining and work areas clean, handling payments, and supporting inventory. We train motivated candidates for a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or food service is a plus, but training is provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure orders are prepared and delivered promptly.
• Prepare menu items including sandwiches, salads, soups, and daily specials according to Miss J’s Café standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, ovens, blenders, toasters).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area including dining room, kitchen, and restrooms.
• Handle cash and payments accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Assist with stocking, inventory, and receiving deliveries.
• Work cooperatively with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
