Job summary

Miss J's Cafe within LV Petroleum Travel Centers is hiring energetic Team Members to prepare fresh food, deliver friendly service, and maintain clean spaces. You’ll greet guests, take orders, and help craft items like sandwiches, salads, and daily specials with training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or food service experience is a plus, but not required—we will train motivated candidates.
• Positive, friendly attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure orders are prepared and delivered promptly.
• Prepare menu items including sandwiches, salads, soups, and daily specials according to Miss J's Café standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, ovens, blenders, toasters, etc.).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including diningroom, kitchen, and restrooms.
• Handle cash and payments accurately while maintaininga balanced cash drawer.
• Assistwith stocking, inventory, and receiving deliveries.
• Work cooperatively with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
