Job summary

McAlister’s Deli is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to greet guests, take orders, prepare items, and ensure timely delivery with accuracy. You will maintain cleanliness, adhere to uniform standards, and support multiple stations as needed.

The role requires 1 year in casual dining, being at least 16, strong communication, and the ability to stand most of the shift. Flexible hours and travel to locations may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a casual restaurant dining.
• 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to be self-reliant and execute duties from upper management.
• Able to speak, read, and write effectively with excellent oral communication abilities.
• Must adhere to McAlister’s uniform and grooming policy.
• Stand and walk for 95–100% of shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible hours and travel to assigned location; operate respective work stations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare certain food items.
• Greet guests and take orders accurately and politely.
• Know menu items and ingredients; follow service procedures.
• Deliver orders to guests; ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and guest service standards.
• Ensure orders are complete and properly packaged.
• Assist other stations if one is behind.
• Prepare and serve drinks; practice customer service procedures.
• Prepare menu items quickly while maintaining quality.
