Job summary

Whataburger is hiring Restaurant Leaders in Texas to coach shift teams, ensure food safety, and uphold Whataburger standards. You will support Operating Partners and Managers, supervise Team Members, and drive operational excellence.

We seek individuals with at least 18, a high school diploma, 6 months as a Team Member, and certifications in Food Safety and Food Handler’s. Competitive salaries and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Six (6) months’ experience as a Team Member.
• Attainment of Team Member skills certification.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and inspire Team Members.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and maintain an effective working relationship with management and co-workers.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Food Safety Certification (may vary based on city, county, and state requirements).
• Food Handler’s Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coach during shifts, creating a safe space for communication.
• Foster a High Performing Team environment and supervise Team Members.
• Ensure that operating procedures are followed to drive operational excellence.
• Support Operating Partners and Managers in managing the restaurant.
