Job summary

Northwood Hospitality is seeking a Dunbar Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead the Food & Beverage team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences at The Ballantyne property in Charlotte, NC. The role emphasizes strong leadership, service standards, and effective cost management.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience, excellent communication, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays in a hospitality setting. TIPS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• TIPS Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations including scheduling, staffing, and inventory control.
• Train restaurant staff and maintain team motivation; address performance issues.
• Greet and assist guests, manage seating and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Control costs and maximize revenue; monitor labor costs and ensure timely reporting.
