City Experiences is seeking a Part-Time Restaurant Supervisor for our City Cruises operation in New York City.

Join our team to oversee restaurant operations on water, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth cruise execution.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cruise Execution:
- Assist in managing front-of-the-house staff, including recruitment, training, coaching/discipline, and retention.
- Support restaurant managers in shift changes, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety standards.
- Coordinate with other departments for guest requests and special event details.
- Conduct pre-cruise meetings and communicate essential information to staff.
- Ensure safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards are maintained.
- Handle guest service issues diplomatically to promote guest retention.
- Identify staff training needs and recommend service improvement programs.
- Staff Management:
- Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling front-line staff.
- Follow performance management guidelines for discipline and termination.
- Foster positive relationships and teamwork among staff.
- Develop and implement employee incentive programs.
- Administration:
- Maintain cash control procedures and monitor costs.
- Manage payroll scheduling and processing.
- Oversee collateral duties such as bar, laundry, gift shop, and entertainment scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with health and alcohol regulations.
- Attend scheduled meetings and operate restaurant systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of guest service experience and supervisory experience.
- Responsible alcohol service (TIPS) and ServSafe certifications required.
- Energetic, enthusiastic personality.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work extended periods, lift heavy items, and be available on all major holidays.
