Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells, WI, is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to uphold our high standards of service, lead the team, and help deliver memorable dining experiences for guests. You will train staff, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and partner with leadership to maintain quality and consistency across food and beverage outlets.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of front-of-the-house or supervisory hotel/resort experience and a background in full-service

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year front-of-house or supervisory experience in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Experience in a full-service restaurant is required.
  • Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English; bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
  • State or Local Law may require an alcohol safety/certification class and proper food handling certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director; communicate policies and train restaurant associates.
  • Fill in where needed to maintain guest service standards and operations.
  • Coach and develop staff; provide leadership and guidance.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained according to the restaurant's preventive maintenance program.

Restaurant Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aRestaurant Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for exemplifying company standards, behaviors and actions by providing guests with food and beverages served with a fun, friendly, professional, attentive approach that will ensure guest satisfaction beyond expectations; training, developing and coaching associates in all areas of their job role; and completing all necessary administrative duties.

Paying homage to the rich history of Wisconsin supper clubs while infusing a contemporary twist, Daylene's invites you to experience a modern take on classic Wisconsin cuisine.

You’ll ensure high-quality service, consistent product standards, and a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll provide leadership, support teamwork, and foster a positive and efficient work environment for associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director and understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for all food and beverage outlets within the Resort completely, communicating expectations and enforcing those policies and procedures with restaurant associates.
  • Fill in where needed (as an associate) to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
  • Continually strive to develop, coach, and train your staff in all areas of professional development.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
What We’re Looking For
  • General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations and/or supervisory positions in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
  • Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant is required.
  • Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
  • State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification.
