Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations, train and coach associates, and uphold the high standards of service across our Wisconsin property.

You will partner with the Restaurant Manager and F&B Director to ensure consistent, engaging guest experiences while maintaining efficiency and quality in daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in front-of-the-house operations and/or supervisory roles in a hotel or resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager and F&B Director and understand all restaurant policies, standards and training; ensure guest service and operations meet daily expectations.
• Fill in as an associate when needed to maintain service standards and efficiency.
• Coach and develop staff, and ensure equipment and facilities are kept clean and well-maintained.
• Lead with a positive, friendly, professional approach to deliver guest satisfaction beyond expectations.

Restaurant Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor . In this role, you will be responsible for exemplifying company standards, behaviors and actions by providing guests with food and beverages served with a fun, friendly, professional, attentive approach that will ensure guest satisfaction beyond expectations; training, developing and coaching associates in all areas of their job role; and completing all necessary administrative duties.

Paying homage to the rich history of Wisconsin supper clubs while infusing a contemporary twist, Daylene's invites you to experience a modern take on classic Wisconsin cuisine.

You’ll ensure high-quality service, consistent product standards, and a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll provide leadership, support teamwork, and foster a positive and efficient work environment for associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director and understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for all food and beverage outlets within the Resort completely , communicating expectations and enforcing those policies and procedures with restaurant associates.
• Fill in where needed (as an associate) to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
• Continually strive to develop, coach, and train your staff in all areas of professional development.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.

What We’re Looking For

• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations and/or supervisory positions in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
• Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant is required .
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required .
• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification.
