Description

The Grill Supervisor will monitor the restaurant, ensuring swift, positive, and friendly guest service.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the food & beverage staff and the operation of food venues.
• Demonstrate superior customer service skills and act as a positive role model for all team members.
• Convey positive energy and enthusiasm, focusing on guest interaction.
• Address service issues promptly and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Direct daily work activities of assigned personnel within the restaurant.
• Schedule and assign stations within the restaurant, proactively managing labor costs.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness.
• Coach, counsel, discipline, and train team members in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with special and routine projects as necessary.
• Advise customers on food and beverage selections.
• Ensure food is prepared and served according to quality standards.
• Maintain adherence to Board of Health standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of four years’ supervisory experience.

Additional Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant management.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
• Ability to tolerate areas with secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
