Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor in Huntsville, AL to lead restaurant associates in daily tasks and assist staff as required. You will supervise guest service in the restaurant and bar, uphold brand standards, and ensure side work and floor plans are correctly executed.

Training for new hires and involvement in menu tastings may be part of the role. Experience in face-to-face guest interactions and relevant certifications (Alcohol Service, ServSafe) are required to

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of restaurant dining supervision with face-to-face guest interaction.
• Front-of-house Alcohol Service Certification is required.
• ServSafe Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor restaurant associates in their daily work tasks and assist staff as needed.
• Supervise guest service in the restaurant and bar to uphold brand standards.
• Establish and reinforce side work by restaurant staff to ensure completion.
• Communicate daily about any special groups or tastings in the restaurant.
• Set up and confirm daily floor plan and coverage with staff.
• Provide approved training for all new hires in the restaurant and/or bar.
• Assist with and/or provide menu classes and/or taste panels with staff.
• Enforce safe and accurate cash and card handling by staff.

• . Communicate daily, all special groups and/or tastings to be held in the restaurant.
• . Set up and confirm daily, the floor plan and coverage for the day with staff.
• . Provide approved training for all new hires in the restaurant and/or bar.
• . Assist with and/or provide menu classes and/or taste panels, with the staff.
• . Enforce safe and accurate cash and card handling by staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• . Must have at least one year of restaurant dining supervision, with face-to-face interactions with guests.
• . Must complete Alcohol Service Certification.
• . Must complete ServSafe Certification.
