Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Handler's permit / ServSafe certification as per State requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to relate positively and work cooperatively with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and meals according to planned menus and diets.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
• Check trays for menu and diet accuracy and proper storage of foods and supplies.
• Work in a non-temperature regulated environment near ovens and stoves.
• Maintain inventory and report hazardous conditions or incidents.
