Job summary

Genki Sushi USA, Inc. in Kailua-Kona, HI is seeking a Store Manager responsible for both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The role reports to Sr. Director of Operations and oversees staff, scheduling, budgets, and compliance with safety standards.

You will drive customer service excellence, monitor financial performance, and participate in staff development and performance reviews. This full-time position offers an opportunity to lead a busy restaurant team in a coastal Hawaii locale.

Qualifications

• Three years Back of House experience in a food service operation, including food preparation and cooking.
• At least two years of Management or Supervisory experience.
• Current ServeSafe or HI DOH food handling certification.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain OSHA and sanitation/food safety programs compliance.
• Monitor day-to-day operations and staff performance; handle coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Hire and terminate staff; train and develop in-store and other-store employees.
• Manage labor costs, inventory, and controllable costs while reporting to upper management.
• Communicate regularly with Head Office on operations issues and performance.
