Genki Sushi USA, Inc. in Kapolei, Hawaii, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (SM-1 Intermediate) to lead both front- and back-of-house operations, oversee staffing, and ensure consistent customer service and safety standards.

The position is full-time, exempt/salary, with a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year. You will report to the Sr. Director of Operations and collaborate with managers to drive profitability and staff development.

Qualifications

• Three years back-of-house experience in a food service operation, including cooking.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Current ServeSafe or HI DOH food-handling certification.
• Ability to work flexible AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Maintain OSHA and sanitation/food safety compliance.
• Oversee FOH/BOH and management duties; monitor staff performance.
• Hire and terminate staff; conduct trainings.
• Monitor daily operations and report issues to operations team.
• Ensure customer service standards and handle customer feedback.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure proper staffing.
• Lead by example during changes and improvements.
