Job summary

Pembroke & Co., Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Store Manager to lead a high-energy team and drive store performance. This role blends hands-on leadership with daily operations and business results, giving you a direct impact on guest experience and store metrics.

The position starts at 5:00am, typically a 50-hour week with weekend and holiday shifts. Overtime eligibility applies as you optimize staffing, costs, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of management or leadership experience (QSR/retail preferred)
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• ServSafe Certification (preferred)
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a demonstrated understanding of confidentiality
• Basic math, problem-solving, and computer skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work on your feet most of the shift (sitting, standing, traversing for up to 12 hours; lift up to 50 lbs)

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting, hiring and training of team members
• Build a positive, accountable team culture
• Provide ongoing feedback, recognize performance and resolve team concerns
• Create a guest-first culture and lead by example to deliver excellent service
• Maintain brand standards, cleanliness, and food safety
• Ensure proper staffing to keep shifts running smoothly and efficiently
• Drive sales and execute local marketing efforts
• Control labor, food costs, and cash handling
• Review performance and take action to improve results
• Manage scheduling, payroll, inventory, and ordering
• Forecast staffing and business needs
• Complete basic reporting and admin tasks
