Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a capable Kitchen Stewarding Assistant to support the Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in cleaning and organizing food and beverage areas. The role requires physical stamina to handle high activity and to push/pull carts and lift items as needed.

Key duties include washing ware, maintaining clean dish machines, polishing silverware, and assisting with general kitchen sanitation. Shift flexibility and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for the dish or pot machine.
• Wash ware and replace in storage areas.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water.
• Operate burnishing machine for silverware finish.
• De-tarnish and polish silverware.
• Clean kettles, tilting skillets, pots and pans promptly.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
