Position Description
As a Service Leader, you will be responsible for achieving guest satisfaction through the implementation of company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. You will monitor compliance with company standards and ensure all policies are properly executed to guarantee maximum guest satisfaction and a quality work environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all guests are properly greeted, seated, and served.
- Handle guest complaints properly and promptly.
- Manage cash, credit card information, gift cards, and all payment-related activities.
- Maintain control of the facility and equipment through preventive maintenance, repairs, security measures, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor food temperatures during handling to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Train employees during shifts to ensure proper performance.
- Verify that all menu items are prepared and served according to standards.
- Identify and correct system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Communicate with the Manager on Duty regarding product/service issues, equipment, safety concerns, etc.
- Manage change fund, cash register, and guest check control, impacting sales and profits through guest satisfaction and cost control.
Qualifications
- Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service, taught through in-house training.
- Trustworthy; reliable in handling payments and operating cash registers.
- Clear communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements / Environment / Work Conditions
- High mobility and flexibility.
- Ability to work irregular hours under stress during peak times.
- High coordination skills.
- Lift and carry trays weighing up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet.
- Ability to fit through a 30” wide opening.
