Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Shift Manager to support daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and lead crew through busy shifts. You will train staff, uphold food safety, manage cash, and coordinate with the Restaurant Management team to deliver fast, friendly service.

The role requires strong teamwork, adaptability to fast-paced conditions, and a commitment to maintaining standards across all restaurant activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One or more years of restaurant experience.
• 6 months or more of restaurant, retail, customer service focused, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure and giving sound direction, team oriented.
• Must exhibit professionalism, composure, and discretion when resolving customer concerns.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work all day parts and days of the week.
• Must have or be willing to obtain ServSafe certification by end of training.

Responsibilities

• Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures to crew members.
• Act as Cash Manager at open/close, setup cash registers, verify cash.
• Conduct walk-throughs to ensure readiness to open/close or rush conditions.
• Train and communicate with crew through huddles and meetings; supervise staff to maximize retention.
• Supervise and delegate execution of operations tasks; ensure compliance with company policies to delight customers.
• Work with management to meet quality, production, and service standards; maintain a safe, efficient environment.
• Execute shift-specific procedures per daily operations plan; manage crew coverage for customer service standards.
• Follow up and resolve customer complaints or concerns as needed.
