What You’ll Do

As a Shift Leader, you will keep the restaurant running smoothly, drive operational excellence, coach and motivate family members, and partner with the Restaurant Manager to strengthen leadership and operational foundations.

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate family members to quickly learn and improve performance.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet business needs and have open availability (overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, dependable attendance).
• Physical ability to stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs.
• Experience coaching or leading teams with strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• ServSafe Food Certification (or ability to obtain and pass the exam during training).

Work Environment

This role is based in your home restaurant. You will spend most of your time leading your team and supporting daily operations. Occasionally you may assist at neighboring locations or provide leadership support within the market, and you may attend business meetings, training opportunities, and leadership sessions.
