Job summary

Penn Station Sandwiches in Pittsburgh is seeking a motivated shift leader to oversee daily operations, direct team workflow, engage with customers, and ensure food is prepared to standard. You will train teammates after gaining procedure expertise and help maintain service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shift Leader or in a similar role in retail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members, assign duties, and create a shift schedule.
• Monitor performance and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Report issues to management during shifts.
• Ensure compliance with policies and health & safety standards.
• Coach staff and train new hires.
• Close out cash registers and prepare deposits.
• Handle customer issues and employee disputes.
