Job summary

Denny’s Roseburg is seeking a Person In Charge (PIC) to lead the restaurant in the absence of exempt management. You will supervise 5–20 crew members per shift, ensure a great dining experience, and uphold brand standards while managing guest interactions and staff performance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, prior Denny’s experience, and leadership capability. This role reports to the General Manager and Restaurant Managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as an hourly restaurant employee with Denny’s and PIC development.
• Strong communication and cash handling skills.
• Ability to lead a team and uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Company Mission, Vision and Core Values.
• Oversees a shift by leading other hourly employees.
• Coordinates restaurant activities during the shift based on guest traffic.
• Monitors sales, hours and guest counts to ensure proper staffing.
• Directs employees to fulfill duties and priorities.
• Coaches on guest service and service cycle.
• Interacts with guests and resolves issues promptly.
• Ensures compliance with brand standards and policies.
