Job summary

CKE Restaurants is seeking a Shift Leader to assist on‑duty management with the General Manager. You’ll oversee crew and team leaders, ensuring adherence to the restaurant’s business plan and standards. The role focuses on service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead shift activities, mentor staff, support sales and profit goals, and uphold company policies while maintaining strong communication with internal and external contacts.

Qualifications

• Must have approximately two to three years of experience and/or education showing restaurant management knowledge.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Excellent planning and time management skills.
• Team building skills are essential.
• Investigative and problem solving skills required.
• Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Telephone or reliable communication method to stay accessible.
• Bi-lingual skills a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assists General Manager or on‑duty PIC with management activities.
• Ensures Crew and Team Leaders meet job responsibilities and expectations.
• Works with Restaurant Management Team to align with business plan.
• Provide quality product and customer service to deliver satisfaction.
• Lead shift activities to maximize sales and control costs.
• Model and promote company values; adhere to policies.
