Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help guide staff, ensure smooth restaurant operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will assist in leading team members, managing processes, and executing strategies to boost sales and satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes line leadership, safety, inventory control, and daily reporting while offering growth opportunities within a nationwide network of travel stops.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with proper task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop team members in preparing and packaging customer orders promptly to maximize service.
• Oversee the cleanliness of the dining room and food preparation areas.
• Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained.
