Job summary

Onvo in Duncannon, PA is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the restaurant team during a shift and uphold excellent customer service. You will manage daily operations in the absence of the GM/ASM and oversee quality, sanitation, and appearance of the store.

You will direct team activities, monitor attendance, and handle shift-level admin tasks such as cash handling, deposits, inventories and daily reports while training staff on safety, guest relations, and suggested selling techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year restaurant experience.
• Ability to lead a team and supervise shift operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct Team Members as they perform the activities necessary for a successful shift operation.
• Maintain continuity of shift operations and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Attend shifts promptly and regularly.
• Handle administrative tasks (petty cash, daily deposits, inventories, daily reports) for the shift.
• Ensure products meet quality and quantity standards; maintain sanitation and neat appearance.
• Assign job positions to insure efficient operation per policy and labor laws.
• Train shift employees in food prep, sanitation, appearance, guest relations, and selling techniques.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Take inventory at night to aid management ordering and identify shortages.
• Enforce company security and operations policies.
