Job summary

Penn Station Sandwiches is seeking a motivated shift leader to manage daily operations, direct team workflow, and engage with customers. The role focuses on maintaining service standards, training staff, and ensuring smooth shifts.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong leadership, reliable performance, and excellent communication skills, with flexibility to close the restaurant at least twice weekly. Join our team to support high-quality service and operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervising team members, assigning duties, and creating a shift schedule

• Ensuring compliance with company policies, and health & safety standards
• Coaching team members and training new staff
• Closing out cash registers and preparing cash deposits
• Handling customer issues and employee disputes
