Job summary

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is hiring a Shift Lead for our Sierra location. This role invites you to lead a fast-paced kitchen, supervise Team Members, and ensure top-quality service while keeping the shop running smoothly.

You'll delegate tasks, train staff, manage inventory, and uphold Capriotti's standards for food safety and guest experience. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay ($17-$20/hr base+tips), and opportunities to grow into management.

• Able to take direction and delegate to others.

• Clear communicator who keeps the team informed.
• Flexible availability, nights and weekends.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Delegate duties and fairly assign tasks so Team Members are set up for success with every guest.
• Build a strong team environment by recognizing individual and team wins.
• Follow inventory control procedures and guidelines.
• Uphold all Capriotti's procedures for cash handling, sanitation, and safety/security to protect Team Members and guests every shift.
• Help manage labor costs during your shift.
• Lead with integrity and honesty, promoting Capriotti's values and culture.
• Stay proficient in every area of shop operations so you can jump in wherever needed.
• Keep the shop clean and organized — dining room, restrooms, cold station, grill, and prep areas all set up and broken down properly.
• Work as a team to prep for every shift.
• Manage your time effectively to hit all job responsibilities.
• Keep the vibe positive for Team Members and guests all shift long.
