Job summary

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is hiring a Shift Lead for our Sierra location in the United States. You will be the face of the shop, delivering high-quality service and keeping the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

You will delegate tasks, lead a team, and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement are available to the right candidate, with focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills.
• Clear communicator who keeps the team in the loop.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Delegate duties and assign tasks so team members are set up for success with every guest.
• Build a strong team environment by recognizing individual and team wins.
• Follow inventory control procedures and guidelines.
• Uphold Capriotti's procedures for cash handling, sanitation, and safety/security to protect team members and guests each shift.
• Help manage labor costs during your shift.
• Lead with integrity and Capriotti's values and culture.
• Stay proficient in all shop operations so you can jump in wherever needed.
• Keep the shop clean and organized — dining room, restrooms, stations, and prep areas.

What You'll Do as a Shift Lead

Sharing our passion one sandwich at a time starts and ends with you. As a Shift Lead, you're the face of the shop, delivering uncompromising quality and service — hot food served hot, cold food served cold, everything fresh, the shop spotless, and your team in full uniform with a smile.

• Delegate duties and fairly assign tasks so Team Members are set up for success with every guest
