Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Pocono Manor, PA is hiring Restaurant Service Staff including Busser, Food Runner, and Host/ess roles. You will work with the front-of-house team to ensure tables are cleaned and sanitized quickly, deliver food, and warmly welcome guests.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and daily operations, with tips and hourly wages varying by position. Candidates with at least one year of experience in front-of-house are preferred and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Restaurant Service Staff

This includes a Busser, Food Runner or Host/ess position.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aRestaurant Service Staff. As aBusser, you will work closely with the front ofhouseteam to ensure that tables are cleaned/sanitized quickly, communicating that the table is ready for use again. As aFood Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the guests inan accurateand quick manner. As a Host/ess, yoube responsible for welcoming guests into the restaurant, assigning them tables, and working with the front of house team to ensure tables are cleaned and accurately flipped in the system.

As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise toLead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests

Hourly wages and tips do vary per position

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations ofdelivering food orders from the kitchen to the guests inan accurateand quick manner
• Answer questions about food, beverage, restaurant functions, services, and resort services and activities
• Monitor andobserveguestsdining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food, beverage, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to their needs and requests
• Take dirty tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in theappropriate areasfor washing
• Communicate with server andhostess/host to assure efficient seating, tableutilizationand customer service
• Remove used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leaveand betweenseating, promptly cleantabletops, chairs and booths.Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletops

What We’re Looking For

• General food and beverage knowledge involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations is preferred
• A leadership stylerootedin collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Mustbe able tofrequentlycommunicate and develop rapport with guests and associates and have a working relationship with the resort management team
