Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead guest service, training, and daily operations at our Wisconsin venues. This role focuses on maintaining brand standards, coaching associates, and ensuring smooth service across Food & Beverage outlets.

You will contribute to a welcoming, efficient environment while supporting managers and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a full-service setting. Join a team dedicated to Lead with Love and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Front-of-house experience in a hotel/resort setting is preferred.
• Prior restaurant experience in a full-service establishment is required.
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively; bilingual skills are a plus.
• State or local law may require an alcohol awareness/safety certificate and state-certified food handling certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director and ensure all policies and procedures are followed by staff.
• Cover shifts as needed to maintain guest service standards and smooth operations.
• Coach and train staff in professional development and guest service excellence.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment through daily checks and preventative maintenance programs.

Restaurant Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for exemplifying company standards, behaviors and actions by providing guests with food and beverages served with a fun, friendly, professional, attentive approach that will ensure guest satisfaction beyond expectations; training, developing and coaching associates in all areas of their job role; and completing all necessary administrative duties.

Paying homage to the rich history of Wisconsin supper clubs while infusing a contemporary twist, Daylene's invites you to experience a modern take on classic Wisconsin cuisine.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure high-quality service, consistent product standards, and a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll provide leadership, support teamwork, and foster a positive and efficient work environment for associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and F&B Director and understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for all food and beverage outlets within the Resort completely, communicating expectations and enforcing those policies and procedures with restaurant associates.
• Fill in where needed (as an associate) to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
• Continually strive to develop, coach, and train your staff in all areas of professional development.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.

What We're Looking For

• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations and/or supervisory positions in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
• Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant is required.
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class as well as state-certified proper food handling certification.
