Job summary

Founders Inn & Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is seeking energetic Restaurant Servers for The Swan Terrace Restaurant. The position offers a base pay of $3.00 per hour plus tips, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

You will welcome guests, maintain menu knowledge, build rapport, and use suggestive selling to enhance the dining experience while delivering service to a high standard in a hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Be friendly, professional, dependable, and guest-focused.
• Have strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be organized and able to manage multiple tables and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Have knowledge of food-service practices and regulations.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, carry, and lift throughout the shift.
• Have at least one year of restaurant or related service experience preferred.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and Hilton-style hospitality.
• Build rapport with guests and anticipate their dining needs.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of restaurant menus, daily specials, beverages, and available hotel services.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and use suggestive-selling techniques for appetizers, entrées, desserts, wine, beer, and other beverages.
• Accurately take and enter guest orders.
• Deliver food and beverages professionally, efficiently, and according to established service standards.
• Follow established table-service procedures throughout the guest experience.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address requests or concerns.
• Pre-bus and maintain tables throughout service.
• Present guest checks and accurately process payments.
• Complete assigned opening, running, and closing side work.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional service areas.
• Work collaboratively with Hosts, Dining Room Attendants, Culinary team members, fellow Servers, and restaurant leadership.
• Assist with training and supporting other Servers when requested by management.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support restaurant operations and exceptional guest service.

What You'll Do
