Position Summary

We are seeking dynamic and dedicated Restaurant Servers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for delivering top-notch service in a premium dining environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.

This role will pay an hourly rate between $9.00 plus tips.

About the Venue

Rhubarb Hospitality Collection (RHC) is a renowned luxury restaurant group that has built a strong reputation for creating exceptional dining experiences in some of the world’s most prestigious locations. Founded over 23 years ago in London, RHC has since expanded its footprint, with successful restaurant operations in New York City with PEAK, located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards.

Known for its humility, innovative culinary offerings, elegant design, and impeccable service, the group has become a staple in the high-end dining scene, attracting discerning guests from around the world.

RHC will be opening Curtain Call Lounge, located at The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts. Home to Ensemble Arts Philly, featuring various genres including Broadway, comedy, theater, jazz, dance, and family presentations across three iconic venues: the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, the Academy of Music, and the Miller Theater.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and provide recommendations when necessary.
• Ensure accuracy in order-taking and communicate orders to the kitchen staff promptly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, following established serving standards.
• Check on guests regularly to meet their needs and address any concerns or requests.
• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely guest checks and process payments using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including setting up and breaking down tables.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as kitchen staff and hosts/hostesses, to provide a seamless dining experience.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of serving experience in a premium service restaurant.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic math skills for accurate order processing and bill calculations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new procedures and standards.
• Solid knowledge of wine and spirits.
