Job summary

IHOP in Phoenix, AZ seeks a friendly, efficient server to greet guests, seat them, take orders, and handle payments. You will contribute to a smooth dining flow and warm guest interactions.

You will memorize IHOP terminology, follow Service Guidelines, uphold cleanliness, safety, and uniform standards, and collaborate with team members to deliver a quality guest experience. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or training desirable but may not be required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Basic math skills for guest checks and remittance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Execute the Service Guidelines per IHOP SOP to ensure high-quality guest experience.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and invite them to return.
• Memorize IHOP terminology, abbreviations, methodologies, and plating and menu knowledge.
• Comply with SOP methods regarding guest checks and server banking procedures.
• Stock and rotate supplies in service areas and dining room per shift.
• Adhere to local and SOP health, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables and chairs, booths, and floors after guests leave.
• Perform cleaning duties per posted charts.
• Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards per SOP guidelines.
• Perform other assignments by General Manager or supervisor.
• Comply with IHOP N Go program as assigned.
