Harbor View Hotel is seeking an experienced fine-dining server to welcome guests and deliver exceptional service on Martha's Vineyard. You will describe daily specials, ensure accurate order placement, and maintain a polished dining room presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of fine-dining serving experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and guest-service orientation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (No winter H2B visas available).

What you will do:

• Greet allguests in polite and professional manner

• Have a thorough knowledge of the specials of the dayand be able to elegantly describe the ingredients, methods of preparationand flavors of each special
• Ascertain a guests satisfaction and handle anyproblem, which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it wasresolved

What we ask of you:

• Highenergy, exceptional customer service and ability to work as a team
• Minimum of (3+) Three Years Finedining serving experience.
• Strongverbal communication skills to be able serve guests and accurately followinstructions
• Enterall orders in the restaurants computer system
• Commitmentto work 40 hours per week
• Abilityto work a flexible schedule to include early morning, late nights,weekends, and holidays
• Abilityto repetitively stand, walk, bend, kneel, and ascend and descend stairsand lift over 20 pounds
