Job summary

Margaritaville Lake Resort Osage Beach in Missouri is seeking energetic restaurant servers for JB's Boathouse Restaurant. The role offers $7.50 per hour plus tips, with Breakfast Shifts from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Must be at least 18 years old and ready to join a fun, fast-paced team dedicated to excellent guest service. As a Server, you will greet guests, answer questions, take orders, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely, accurate service.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay $7.50 per hour plus tips

Breakfast Shifts are 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of ageReports to: JBs Boathouse Restaurant Manager

As a Restaurant Server, you will take the guests’ orders and answer questions about the menu as needed, maintaining the fun, upbeat culture of the restaurant in your communication with the guests.

• Ensure all details are followed according to supervisor’s instructions.
• Greet guests at the table and introduce yourself.
• Explain menu items and daily specials and be able to advise on options for special dietary requirements.
• Take orders accurately and communicate orders to the kitchen promptly using the systems in place.
• Enter tickets in the Micros system accurately and promptly.
• Check on guests at the table, maintaining a positive can-do attitude and ensuring the guests have everything they need.Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and friendly manner.
• Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Have a thorough knowledge of restaurant food and beverage preparation.
• Ensure service area is cleared and thoroughly cleaned at the conclusion of the recent meal period. All equipment must be stored in the designated area.
• Maintain constant presence in room; greet guests upon arrival and thank them for coming upon their departure.
• Communicate guest compliments/complaints to management.
• Notify supervisor of any broken or damaged equipment.
• Maintain Driftwood and resort & restaurant standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.

Personal Skills

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum lifting/pulling of 40 pounds.
• Being on feet for an entire shift, possibly 8 hours or more.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
