Job summary

Margaritaville Lake Resort Osage Beach MO is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work on a variety of resort-wide maintenance projects, from painting and plumbing to HVAC systems, in guest areas when needed.

This is a full-time, on-site role reporting to the Chief Engineer. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, Missouri Class E driver's license, solid math and computer skills, and a professional work ethic.

Qualifications

• Strong math and computer skills for maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining hotel facilities, including painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
• Replace air conditioner filters and perform routine HVAC maintenance.
• Maintain furnaces, boilers, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and related systems.
• Uphold quality guest service standards and safety policies.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous manner.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay $ 16.50 per hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

Reports to: Chief Engineer, Engineering Department

As a maintenance engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects to maintain and develop all areas of the resort. You may often be working in guest areas so a professional and thorough work ethic is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
• Replace air conditioner filters.
• Requires maintenance of furnace, air conditioner, boiler, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, mechanical, pneumatic/electronic systems & controls, carpentry & finish skills.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards.
• Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
• Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
