SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provides friendly and efficient service in a timely manner to guests according to company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. Shows guests genuine hospitality while providing them with a memorable experience. Looks professional and shows sincerity with a positive, friendly attitude. Performs all duties to maximize guest satisfaction and maintain a positive work environment as directed by the Manager on Duty.

POSITION ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

• Guest Interactions
• Reports to work well-groomed, in a clean and proper uniform, and practices good personal hygiene at all times.
• Greets guests courteously when seated at station.
• Welcomes guests immediately upon seating with a non-scripted greeting.
• Uses acquired menu knowledge to suggest menu items, answer questions, and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Delivers hot food promptly, checking for accuracy, appearance, and temperature.
• Provides Perkins service with genuine hospitality, personality, and specific suggestions. Actively engages guests and remedies concerns to ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Keeps tables, stations, pantry, and dining room clean, completing assigned cleaning duties.
• Attends to guest requests and maintains the dining area, including pre-bussing and detailing.
• Maintains cleanliness of stations and pantry.
• Performs side work during downtime, such as restocking and bussing tables.
• Follows the service cycle and team responsibilities, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Communicates issues to managers and proposes solutions.
• Processes orders and operates POS systems according to policies.
• Prevents system breakdowns and ensures maximum guest satisfaction.
• Assists team members as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of service stations, garnish line, service bar, and common areas.
• Restocks supplies, sorts and polishes silverware, and cleans mirrors and artifacts.
• Runs food to ensure hot food is served hot.
