Summary of Position

Provides friendly and efficient service in a timely manner to guests according to company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. Shows guests genuine hospitality while providing them with a memorable experience. Maintains a professional appearance and positive attitude. Performs all duties to maximize guest satisfaction and a positive work environment as directed by the Manager on Duty.

Position Activities and Tasks

• Guest Interactions
• Reports to work well-groomed, in a clean and proper uniform, practicing good personal hygiene at all times.
• Greets guests courteously when seated at station.
• Welcomes guests immediately upon seating with a friendly, non-scripted greeting.
• Uses menu knowledge to suggest items, answer questions, and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Delivers hot food promptly, checking for accuracy, appearance, and temperature.
• Provides excellent service with genuine hospitality, engaging with guests and addressing concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Keeps tables, stations, pantry, and dining areas clean, completing assigned cleaning duties.
• Attends to guest requests and maintains cleanliness of stations and common areas.
• Performs side work during downtime, such as restocking and cleaning.
• Follows the service cycle and team responsibilities to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicates effectively with management and coworkers regarding issues and solutions.
• Processes orders and operates POS systems accurately.
• Maintains service stations and assists team members as needed.
• Ensures food is served hot and maintains cleanliness of the dining and pantry areas.
