Job summary

Heartis Mid Cities is seeking Servers who are enthusiastic, friendly, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service in our dining room and during events. This part-time role runs 3:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m., weekends and holidays required, with a pay rate of $17.00/hr.

Applicants must obtain an accredited food handler certification within 60 days and ideally have 6 months to 1 year of related experience. The job emphasizes resident-focused service, teamwork, and a polished appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests with a smile and seat them comfortably.
• Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests to ensure a top-notch dining experience.
• Pour and refill drinks in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously.
• Assist with setting tables, clearing dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking inventory.
• Maintain high standards of appearance and personal hygiene.

Location: Heartis Mid Cities, an Independent and Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.

Part Time: 3:30p.m. - 7:30p.m.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events.
• Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to sit.
• Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and efficiently.
• Guarantee the accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch.
• Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously.
• Assist with setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking inventory.
• Remove all walkers from the dining room to ensure safety and return them immediately after meals.
• Make each resident and guest feel special, showing genuine pleasure in serving them.
• Understand the menu fully and be able to explain the selections to residents and guests.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Attend all required in-service training sessions.
• Be an active member of the community's emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
• Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm.
