Job summary

Village on the Park Stonebridge in McKinney, TX is hiring compassionate Servers for our assisted living dining rooms and events. You will greet residents, take orders, deliver meals, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.

The role offers $16.00 per hour, full-time hours, and benefits like 401K, PTO, and health options. Previous experience is preferred, but we value energy, teamwork, and a caring attitude.

Qualifications

• Accredited food handler certification within 60 days.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events.
• Greet residents and guests with a smile and seat them comfortably.
• Take food orders, relay to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests to enhance dining experience.
• Pour and refill drinks in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with setting tables, clearing dishes, and restocking inventory.
• Maintain safety by removing walkers from dining area and returning after meals.
• Explain menu selections to residents and guests clearly.
• Maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene.
• Attend required in-service trainings.

Location: Village on the Park Stonebridge, an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr.

Full Time

Shift: 10:00a.m. - 6:30p.m.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events.
• Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to sit.
• Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and efficiently.
• Guarantee the accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch.
• Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously.
• Assist with setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking inventory.
• Remove all walkers from the dining room to ensure safety and return them immediately after meals.
• Make each resident and guest feel special, showing genuine pleasure in serving them.
• Understand the menu fully and be able to explain the selections to residents and guests.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Attend all required in-service training sessions.
• Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
• Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
