Job summary

The Aspenwood Company is hiring Servers to deliver exceptional dining service in Village on the Park Stonebridge community in Texas. You'll work in the dining room and at events, greeting residents, taking orders, and delivering meals with warmth.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. shift. Pay is $16.00 per hour, with benefits including 401K, PTO, health options, and employee programs. You’ll join a compassionate team supporting seniors daily.

Qualifications

• Accredited food handler certification within 60 days
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred
• Excellent customer service attitude and ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks

Responsibilities

• Keep dining room spotless and beautifully set for meals and events
• Greet residents and guests with a smile and seat them comfortably
• Take food orders, relay to kitchen, and deliver meals promptly
• Ensure accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation
• Respond to resident and guest requests to ensure top dining experience
• Pour and refill drinks in a timely manner
• Follow safety and sanitation standards meticulously
• Assist with tables, removing dirty dishes, restocking inventory
• Remove walkers from dining room for safety and return after meals
• Explain menu and options to residents and guests
• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene
• Attend required in-service training sessions
• Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team
• Maintain professional appearance per company policies
• Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events.
• Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to sit.
• Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and efficiently.
• Guarantee the accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch.
• Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously.
• Assist with setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking inventory.
• Remove all walkers from the dining room to ensure safety and return them immediately after meals.
• Make each resident and guest feel special, showing genuine pleasure in serving them.
• Understand the menu fully and be able to explain the selections to residents and guests.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Attend all required in-service training sessions.
• Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
• Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm.

Minimum Requirements
