Overview

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Check with customers to ensure satisfaction and address issues.
• Collect payments from guests.
• Write or enter food and beverage orders into the system.
• Prepare checks and process sales.
• Take orders for food and drinks, check IDs for alcohol service.
• Serve food and beverages, including specialty dishes and drinks.
• Present menus and recommend items.
• Clean tables and counters after dining.
• Assist with food preparation and setup.
• Inform guests of specials and answer questions about menu items.
• Stock supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Describe menu items and wine selections.
• Assist with reservations and guest seating.
• Perform general cleaning duties.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in guest relations and understanding of English.
• Food and liquor service training preferred.
