Full-time Day Shift - Start early and leave early to enjoy the rest of your day!
Weekdays - 5am to 1pm
Weekends - 6am to 2pm
Wage - $11.40 plus tips
Join the Sheraton Sioux Falls team and work in our full-service restaurant, Falling Water Grille, located in our beautiful atrium. We are located by Denny Sanford Premier Center and Sioux Falls Convention Center where all the best events happen. Our guests include international travelers, concert goers, sports teams, business travelers, families, as well as locals. If you enjoy variety in your work, this position is for you!
How you will provide our guests an excellent dining experience:
·Ensure prompt and courteous service toguests;
·Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus, answering dining related questions, and suggest food and beverageitems;
·Take food and beverage orders, relay orders to kitchen,and serve food toguests;
·Monitors tables in assigned section ensuring allguestsareserved;
·Answer telephone calls and process phoneorders;
·Address guestcomplaints;
·Collect and process guestpayments;
·Totals receipts at end of shift to verify sales and clear cashregister;
·Ensures tips are reported properly for taxprocessing;
·Coordinate amenity delivery request in connection with the kitchendepartment;
·Clear dirty table settings and prepare table forresetting;
·Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen andcondiments;
·Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness andcleanliness;
·Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; andany and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Preferred Experience:
Previous customer service, restaurantand bartending experience
Previous experience with Micros operating system
Physical:
Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift, ableto bend and squat repeatedly, able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
