Job Description

1. Reports to work well-groomed, in a clean and proper uniform, and practices good personal hygiene at all times.
2. Greets guests courteously when seated at the station.
3. Takes verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preferences.
4. Serves high-quality food, checks all orders for accuracy, proper preparation, correct portions, and attractive presentation.
5. Maintains cleanliness of stations and pantry.
6. Performs side work during downtime, such as rolling silverware, restocking, cleaning work stations, and bussing tables.
7. Follows the service cycle and team responsibilities consistently.
8. Maintains knowledge of the menu to suggest and upsell items effectively.
9. Processes guest checks and operates POS equipment according to company policies.
10. Anticipates and corrects system or service issues to maximize guest satisfaction.
11. Ensures 100% guest satisfaction on every visit.
12. Communicates with managers and coworkers regarding product, service, safety, or equipment issues.
13. Reports problems and proposes solutions to the General Manager or Manager on Duty.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Continuous standing and walking.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests.
• Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold.
• Reaching heights of approximately 6 feet, with depths of 2.5 to 3 feet.
• High mobility and flexibility in limited space.
• Ability to fit through openings 30 inches wide.
• Work irregular hours under pressure during busy times.
• Bending, reaching, walking, eye/hand coordination.
• Lift and carry trays or buss tubs up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet.

Supervision and Skills

Receives guidance from the Associate Manager. Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught in-house. Handyman skills are a plus.
