Position Details
This role offers hourly compensation. The Restaurant Server is responsible for delivering high-quality service to guests, taking and delivering orders, and handling payments.

Responsibilities

1. Provide attentive, friendly, and courteous service to guests, managers, and colleagues.
2. Familiarize with the organization of the restaurant, lounges, and room service, and understand the roles of each position.
3. Know menu items and specials thoroughly.
4. Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously.
5. Pre-bus tables, removing soiled dishes after each course.
6. Operate the POS system effectively.
7. Handle cashiering duties, including closing checks and preparing end-of-shift paperwork.
8. Perform opening and closing procedures and side-work as per station rotation and checklists.
9. Keep tables and service stations stocked, clean, and tidy.
10. Maintain beverages at appropriate levels.
11. Break down trays of dishes and linens following standards.
12. Answer phones professionally.
13. Upsell food, beverages, and promotions to guests.
14. Know the locations and usage of fire extinguishers.
15. Ensure guest satisfaction and handle payments accurately.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, with experience in hospitality advantageous.
• Flexible schedule; ability to work long hours if needed.
• Ability to exert force up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and maneuver while carrying trays.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle guest concerns professionally.
• Attend required meetings and maintain high personal appearance standards.
• Comply with safety and operational standards and maintain confidentiality.
• Show initiative and problem-solving skills.
