The Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing is uniquely located directly on the Delaware River Waterfront at Penn's Landing in downtown Philadelphia. With 350 well-appointed guest rooms and 24,000 sq ft of meeting space, it offers an exceptional experience. Rooms feature sleek work desks, 32" LCD TVs, wall-mounted Wi-Fi consoles, dark wood furnishings, leather lounge chairs, contemporary lighting, and stunning city or river views.

Position Summary

As a Restaurant Server at Hilton at Penn's Landing, you play a crucial role in creating exceptional guest experiences. You will provide attentive, personalized service, guide guests through beverage options, and ensure their satisfaction. You will also maintain the bar area, handle orders accurately, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with Pyramid Global Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Meet certification requirements such as Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers Safety.
• Be familiar with the restaurant and lounge organization and roles.
• Answer questions about menu selections.
• Coordinate with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and product availability.
• Communicate dietary needs, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Record transactions in MICROS system at the time of order.
• Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, etc.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking and turning off lights.
• Present accurate checks and process payments.
• Have thorough knowledge of menus and specials.
• Serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Operate the P.O.S. system.
• Handle cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties as assigned.
• Ensure tables and side stands are stocked, tidy, and clean.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
