Job Title: Restaurant Server

Job Description: The restaurant server works under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director. Responsibilities include selling and serving food and drinks professionally and providing exceptional guest service.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve 3–4 tables as determined by management.
• Have knowledge of the hotel’s food and beverage offerings.
• Use a computer to ring up orders.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Accept various payment methods and make change.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform side-work to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Clear and reset tables.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and refuse service politely if underage.
• Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and behavior.
• Treat all guests to ensure their satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations.
• Report to work neat, in uniform, with good grooming and hygiene.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 6 months of server experience preferred.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Health and/or alcohol compliance certification or ability to obtain one.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking and standing throughout the shift.
• Frequently walk and stand.
• Lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Reach, kneel, and stoop repeatedly.
