The Barnett in New Orleans is seeking a courteous Restaurant Server to deliver warm, efficient service in a vibrant dining setting. You will take orders, input them accurately in the POS system, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining table cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of menu items, allergens, food preparation, and beverage options.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.
• Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.
• Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.
• Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
