Fairlawn Fine Dining Llc is looking for servers at their Mahwah and Fairlawn locations. Ideal candidates will be professional, articulate, and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities include setting up tables, greeting guests, ensuring their needs are met, and possessing in-depth knowledge of the menu and wine selections. Compensation starts at $5.62 per hour plus tips in a tip pool environment. Flexible hours required for various shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Experience as a waiter is a must.

SERVER POSITION

High-end, high-volume steak house is looking for both full-time and part-time positions for our Mahwah and Fairlawn locations.

Our waiters are the face of the dining room, therefore we will need the following qualities.

• Outgoing – Articulate – Well Groomed – Professional – Punctual – Works Well Under Pressure
• Warm and Pleasant Demeanor - Strong Communication Skills

Flexible hours are a must, availability must cover one or multiple shifts including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience a must.

WAITER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Making sure tables are properly set, table clothes are stain free without damage and chairs are clean.
• Greeting guests at the table.
• Finding out about any allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Ensuring and anticipating all guests needs are met.
• In depth knowledge of the food menu.
• In depth knowledge of wine and beverage programs.
• Sales and up selling.
• Controlling your section, directing the busboys and food runners.
• Complete knowledge of our POS system.
• Knowledge of proper wine service.
• Basic knowledge of math.
• Strong communication skills.

Compensation – Minimum wage for tipped employees $5.62, plus tips. We are a tip pool house.
