Job Description

1. Reports to work well-groomed, in a clean and proper uniform, and practices good personal hygiene at all times.
2. Greets guests courteously when seated at the station.
3. Takes verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference.
4. Serves high-quality food, checks all orders for completeness, correct preparation, proper portioning, and attractive presentation.
5. Maintains cleanliness of stations and pantry.
6. Performs side work during shift downtime, such as rolling silverware, restocking, cleaning work stations, and bussing tables.
7. Executes the service cycle and team responsibilities consistently.
8. Maintains sufficient knowledge of the menu to suggestively sell to guests.
9. Handles guest checks and operates POS equipment according to company policies.
10. Anticipates and corrects system issues to maximize guest satisfaction.
11. Ensures 100% guest satisfaction on every visit.
12. Communicates with management and coworkers regarding product/service issues, safety, and equipment problems.
13. Informs the General Manager and Manager on Duty of problems and proposes solutions.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Continuous standing and walking.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests.
• Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold.
• Reaching heights of approximately 6 feet and depths of 2.5-3 feet.
• High mobility and flexibility in the workspace.
• Ability to fit through openings 30 inches wide.
• Work irregular hours under pressure during busy times.
• Bending, reaching, walking.
• Eye/hand coordination.
• Lift and carry trays or buss tubs up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet.

Supervision and Skills

Receives direction and training from the Associate Manager regarding procedures and assignments.

Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service are taught in-house.

Handyman skills are a plus.
