Job Description

1. Reports to work well-groomed, in a clean and proper uniform, and practices good personal hygiene at all times.
2. Greets guests courteously when seated at their station.
3. Takes verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preferences.
4. Serves high-quality food, ensuring all orders are complete, prepared as ordered, correctly portioned, and visually attractive.
5. Maintains cleanliness of stations and pantry.
6. Performs side work during shift downtime, such as rolling silverware, restocking, cleaning workstations, and bussing tables.
7. Executes the service cycle and team responsibilities consistently.
8. Maintains sufficient menu knowledge to suggestively sell to guests.
9. Handles guest checks and operates POS equipment per company policies.
10. Anticipates and corrects system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction.
11. Ensures 100% guest satisfaction on every visit.
12. Communicates with managers and coworkers about product/service issues, safety concerns, etc.
13. Informs management of problems and proposes solutions.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

1. Continuous standing and walking.
2. Clear communication with guests.
3. Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold.
4. Reaching heights of approximately 6 feet and depths of 2.5-3 feet.
5. High mobility and flexibility in workspace.
6. Ability to fit through 30-inch openings.
7. Work irregular hours under pressure during busy times.
8. Bending, reaching, walking.
9. Eye/hand coordination.
10. Lift and carry trays and tubs up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet.

Supervision and Skills

1. Receives guidance from the Associate Manager.
2. Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service are taught in-house.
3. Handyman skills are a plus.
