Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club's Market Place Restaurant is seeking a friendly server to welcome guests, take orders, and deliver dishes with enthusiasm. The role emphasizes polished dining experiences, strong communication, and flexibility for weekends/holidays, with opportunities for growth.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years in a restaurant setting, including POS familiarity, potential wine knowledge, and the ability to stand and lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of restaurant server experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Developed English language skills to communicate with guests and staff.
• Fine dining experience and wine knowledge are valued.
• Comfort with walking/standing for long periods.
• Knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to all restaurant guests.
• Provide efficient and friendly food and beverage service in the restaurant.
• Write guests checks to prescribed specifications and use a computerized machine to pre-check items.
• Work as a team player.
• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Assist with cleaning, stocking, and organization of restaurant items.
